The Minister for Reconstruction, Mr. Kosaburo Nishime, observed the investigation apparatus and trial fuel debris retrieval equipment (robot arm and enclosure) for the Unit 2 PCV of Fukushima Daiichi NPS. (April 10, 2022)
The Minister for Reconstruction, Mr. Kosaburo Nishime, visited the Naraha Center for Remote Control Technology Development, which is owned by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), on April 10, 2022. The purpose of this visit was to observe the access and investigation apparatus for detailed investigation inside the primary containment vessel (PCV) of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (NPS) Unit 2, and the trial fuel debris retrieval equipment (the robot arm and the enclosure).
