The 82nd Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) Autumn Meeting was held online from September 10 to 13, 2021. In the symposium “Decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (NPS) and Reconstruction of Fukushima: We should think about what can be done as a member of the JSAP,” Mr. Naoaki Okuzumi, Senior Manager of the R&D Strategy Planning Department, the International Research Institute for Nuclear Decommissioning (IRID), delivered a presentation about the current status of the research and development (R&D) conducted by IRID as one of activity reports.
