IRID Director Toshihiko Fukuda delivered a lecture on technology research being conducted by the International Research Institute for Nuclear Decommissioning (IRID) to The Association for Nuclear Decommissioning Study Fourth Workshop FY2014 held on July 22, 2014.
Mr. Fukuda introduced the system of decommissioning that corresponds to the Mid-and-Long-Term Roadmap and technologies being used in that process, and engaged in an exchange of opinions regarding responses to urgent issues that must be addressed.

Founded in 1997, The Association for Nuclear Decommissioning Study is an independent research institution (private organization) established to study and exchange opinions on decommissioning issues. It promotes the free exchange of information that goes beyond industry, position, age, roles, or affiliations, gathers information on decommissioning projects from around the world, conducts technological studies, and translates relevant documents.
