Poster Display at “Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) Naraha Remote Technology Development Center”

A facility tour at “Naraha Remote Technology Development Center” was organized by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) on 26 November 2017, in which IRID displayed posters. This event was intended to introduce the facility and its activities for local people mainly in Naraha town, organized by JAEA.

IRID exhibited posters on the status of the research and development (R&D), investigation inside the primary containment vessel (PCV), and introduction video as well as an underwater robot mock-up that investigated inside the PCV in July 2017 (provided by TEPCO Holdings). In addition, the full-scale mock-up test facility for repair and water stoppage of the PCV, which was installed to test in the center, was opened for visitors.
